Hey there! I'm A B Thornmoor, and I write romantasy that'll make you question everything you thought you knew about love, loyalty, and what people are capable of when pushed to their limits. (Spoiler alert: It's usually way darker than you'd expect.)

Writing has always been my escape hatch from reality. Growing up, I was that kid who'd rather hang out in the library's fantasy section than, well, anywhere else. I filled notebooks with stories about magical creatures and dangerous royalty long before I ever dreamed of publishing. But here's the thing - I never wanted to write the typical "chosen one saves the world with the power of friendship" stories. I wanted the grit. The moral gray areas. My debut novel, "Reign of Iron," is basically my love letter to all the complicated, messy parts of both fantasy and romance that I always craved but couldn't find enough of. When I'm not torturing my characters (professionally, of course), you'll probably find me drinking way too much coffee, rearranging my ever-growing collection of daggers (don't ask), or trying to convince my cat that my keyboard is not, in fact, the most comfortable spot in the house. It's a losing battle, but I persist.

I believe the best stories are the ones that make you uncomfortable in the best possible way - the ones that keep you up at night wondering if you'd make the same choices if you were in those situations. That's what I aim for with the Iron Legacy series. Anwen's journey isn't just about hiding her true nature or falling in love (though there's plenty of that knife's-edge tension to go around). It's about the price of power, the weight of secrets, and what happens when protecting the ones you love means betraying everything you thought you stood for.

Fair warning: if you're looking for light, fluffy romance where everyone makes good decisions and lives happily ever after without any emotional scarring... you might want to look elsewhere. But if you live for those moments where the line between hero and villain gets real blurry, where the slow burn is so intense it might actually kill you, and where love is as dangerous as it is inevitable - well, pull up a chair. You're my kind of reader.
