Hi there! I'm Alessia Ann, and I write dark paranormal romance where magic meets mayhem and happily-ever-afters come with a side of chaos. (And yes, I may or may not have personal experience with dating disasters of the supernatural variety...)

Growing up, I was that weird kid who preferred hanging out in libraries over playgrounds, devouring every paranormal and fantasy book I could get my hands on. My parents probably should've been concerned when I started telling them about the witch who lived in our neighbor's maple tree, but instead, they fed my imagination with more books. Little did they know they were creating a monster – the writing kind, thankfully!

After years of scribbling stories in notebooks and writing fanfiction (don't judge – we've all been there), I finally took the plunge into publishing with "The Hunter's Sorceress." It's my debut novel about a witch who breaks the cardinal rule of her coven by falling for a human... who turns out to be a supernatural hunter. Talk about awkward first date material! But I believe the best romances are born from the worst decisions, and my characters excel at making questionable choices.

My writing style? Think snarky heroines who are powerful but perfectly imperfect, heroes who blur the lines between good and evil (usually while looking unfairly gorgeous), and enough sexual tension to power a small city. I mix dark themes with humor because, let's be honest, sometimes you need to laugh when everything's going to hell – literally, in some cases.

When I'm not writing about witches making bad romantic choices or hunters with hidden agendas, you can find me attempting to convince my cat she's not actually in charge of my writing schedule (spoiler alert: I'm losing that battle), collecting crystals I swear I'll organize someday, and drinking way too much coffee while plotting my next book. My workspace looks like a witch's cottage exploded in my office, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

What can you expect from my books? Strong magical elements, complicated relationships that'll make you want to throw your e-reader (please don't), steamy scenes that'll fog up your glasses, and characters who feel so real you'll forget they're fictional. I write the kind of stories where consent is sexy, communication is key (even if my characters are terrible at it), and love conquers all – but not without a fight.

I believe in pushing boundaries while respecting limits, creating diverse magical worlds that reflect our own, and writing characters who are beautifully flawed. My witches aren't perfect, my hunters aren't always heroic, and sometimes the line between right and wrong gets so blurry you need a magical spell to find it again.

Your messages about staying up all night to finish my book (sorry not sorry!) and theories about what's coming next make all the late-night writing sessions worth it. I'm just getting started, and I've got so many more stories brewing in my cauldron.
