Hey beautiful bookish souls! I'm Alia, and I write dark romance that'll make your mama clutch her pearls and your book club friends raise their eyebrows. (But let's be honest - those are usually the best kinds of books, right?)

Let me tell you, my path to becoming an author wasn't exactly straightforward. I spent years working in corporate finance, crunching numbers and dreaming up steamy scenarios between meetings. My Notes app was filled with snippets of dialogue and scene ideas that definitely weren't suitable for the office. Eventually, those late-night writing sessions turned into my first book, and here we are!

I write the kind of stories that live in the shadows, where morality isn't black and white but a thousand shades of grey. My characters? They're complicated, messy, and sometimes downright dangerous. Think secret brotherhoods, underground societies, and the kind of men who probably shouldn't be anyone's idea of Prince Charming - but somehow end up stealing hearts anyway.

My debut novel "Ashkai" introduces readers to a world where even the mafia fears something darker. (And trust me, that's saying something!) It follows Stella, a woman caught between ruthless forces who discovers that sometimes the devil you know isn't nearly as dangerous as the ones lurking in the shadows. The Clan isn't your typical secret society - they're something much more ancient, much more lethal, and unfortunately for Stella, much more irresistible.

When I'm not writing scenes that make my beta readers send me keysmash messages at 2 AM, I'm probably binge-watching true crime documentaries, researching obscure historical secret societies (my browser history is... interesting), or trying to convince my cat that my keyboard isn't his personal lounging spot. Spoiler alert: I'm losing that battle.

Fair warning: my books aren't for everyone, and I'm totally okay with that. If you're looking for sweet, clean romance where everyone plays by the rules - I'm probably not your girl. But if you live for: • Morally grey (okay, sometimes straight-up dark) heroes • Strong heroines who give as good as they get • Secret societies with ancient powers • Sexual tension that could power a small city • Plot twists that'll keep you up way past your bedtime • And endings that might hurt a little before they heal...

I believe in writing stories that push boundaries while still respecting my readers' limits. You'll always find content warnings in my books because while I love a good dark romance, I want you to feel safe diving into these dangerous waters.

Currently, I'm working on expanding the world of "Ashkai" - because trust me, the Clan has many more secrets to reveal. (And many more deliciously dangerous men you haven't met yet!) I can't wait to share more of this journey with you.
