Hi there! I'm Amanda Partz, and I write steamy dark romance featuring complex characters who probably shouldn't end up together... but definitely will. (Sorry not sorry!)

Let me tell you how I stumbled into this whole writing thing - it wasn't exactly planned! I spent years devouring romance novels like they were chocolate truffles, always drawn to the darker, grittier stories that made my heart race. You know the ones - where the tension crackles like electricity and the characters are deliciously complicated. After reading thousands of pages of other people's worlds, I finally decided it was time to create my own.

My debut novel "To a Drink, Millionaire" introduces Katherine, a woman who's less than thrilled when she's tasked with entertaining some rich guy at her bar. (I mean, who wouldn't be skeptical, right?) But John turns out to be nothing like she expected, and their story explores all those delicious gray areas between right and wrong, wealth and authenticity, perception and reality. I love writing characters who challenge each other's assumptions and find unexpected connections in the most unlikely places.

When it comes to my writing style, I believe in keeping it real - sometimes uncomfortably so. I write about flawed people making messy choices, because let's face it - that's way more interesting than perfect characters who always do the right thing. My stories tend to walk that fine line between dark and light, exploring power dynamics, emotional wounds, and the kind of attraction that defies all logic and good sense. (The best kind, if you ask me!)

I write in German and English, which lets me play with different linguistic nuances and cultural perspectives. There's something fascinating about how changing languages can shift the entire feel of a scene or character interaction. Plus, it means twice the coffee consumption while writing, so win-win!

What can you expect from my books? Intense chemistry, morally ambiguous characters, and plots that'll keep you guessing. I love throwing in unexpected twists that make readers gasp out loud (preferably in public places - those reactions are the best!) You'll find plenty of steam, but also deep emotional connections that develop despite (or because of) all the complications.

When I'm not writing, you can usually find me researching random topics at 3 AM (did you know there are over 200 different types of bartending techniques?), plotting new stories while pretending to do other things, or connecting with readers on social media. I absolutely love hearing from readers - seriously, your messages and comments make my day every single time.

I'm just getting started on this author journey, and I've got so many more stories burning to be told. Expect more complicated relationships, morally gray characters, and steamy scenes that'll fog up your e-reader. Fair warning: my characters tend to do whatever they want, regardless of my careful plotting. They're stubborn like that.
