Hey there, gorgeous souls! I'm Angelina Conti, and I write dark romance that'll make your mama clutch her pearls (and probably make you question your life choices, but in the best way possible).

First things first - yes, I'm that author who dared to write "Kneel for Me, Velvet" and unleashed a fake marriage romance so deliciously dark it needed content warnings. And you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way.

Let me tell you how I ended up here, writing steamy stories that live in the shadows. I grew up devouring romance novels under my covers with a flashlight (classic bookworm move, right?), but something was always missing. The edges weren't sharp enough. The darkness wasn't quite dark enough. The tension didn't make my heart race quite the way I wanted it to.

So I did what any slightly unhinged writer would do - I started writing the books I wanted to read.

My stories? They're not your typical meet-cute romances. Think more along the lines of "meet-dangerous" (yes, I just made that up, and I'm sticking with it). I love exploring power dynamics, consent, and the complicated mess that happens when attraction collides with control. My characters are broken, beautiful, and sometimes downright terrifying. They're the kind of people who probably need therapy but would rather work out their issues through questionable life choices and intense sexual tension.

"Kneel for Me, Velvet" is my dark baby, featuring a secret club (because who doesn't love a good secret society?), an arrogant lawyer who really needs to be taken down a peg (spoiler: he won't be), and a marriage of convenience that's anything but convenient. It's got all the spice, all the angst, and enough emotional damage to keep your therapist booked solid for months.

When I'm not writing scenes that would make Satan blush, you can find me obsessing over true crime podcasts (research, I swear!), collecting vintage fountain pens (because I'm secretly an old soul), and trying to convince my cat that my keyboard is not, in fact, his personal bed. Fun fact: I write most of my steamiest scenes while drinking chamomile tea and wearing fluffy bunny slippers. The contrast amuses me.

My writing philosophy? Push boundaries, but never without purpose. Every dark moment, every twisted scenario, every questionable decision my characters make serves the story and their growth. I believe in happy endings, but my characters have to crawl through hell to earn them. (Sometimes literally - I get pretty creative with my metaphors.)
