Growing up in an Italian-American family, I was always surrounded by passionate storytelling and dramatic flair (if you know, you know). Those Sunday dinners weren't just about the food—though my nonna's cooking could bring grown men to tears—they were about the stories passed down through generations. Stories of family, loyalty, and yes, sometimes the darker side of our heritage that we only whispered about.

I never actually planned to write mafia romance. I spent years working in corporate America, wearing sensible shoes and pretending I wasn't daydreaming about dangerous men in tailored suits during meetings. But these stories? When I started writing his story, I knew I wanted to explore what happens when duty collides with desire, when the weight of a legacy threatens to crush everything else. I write late at night, fueled by espresso and the kind of ideas that only show up after midnight. My cat judges me silently from her perch on my desk, probably wondering why I'm cackling at my laptop at 3 AM. But that's when the best scenes happen—when the world is quiet and my characters are loud.

Here's the thing about my stories: they're not for everyone, and that's exactly how I like it. I write for readers who want to explore the gray areas, who understand that sometimes the most compelling love stories bloom in the darkest places. My characters aren't looking for redemption—they're looking for someone who accepts them, darkness and all.

When I'm not writing, you can find me obsessing over vintage wines (research for the books, obviously), planning trips to Italy I haven't taken yet (more research!), or trying to perfect my nonna's tiramisu recipe (which she swears she gave me correctly, but I have my doubts).
