Hey there! I'm Beril Kehribar, and I write dark romance that dances on the edge between sinful and sacred. (Yes, that's definitely a warning and a promise rolled into one!)

Born to Turkish parents but raised in Germany, I grew up straddling two rich cultural worlds that shaped my storytelling in ways I never expected. Those contrasting perspectives? They're woven into every twisted plot and morally gray character I create. Trust me, nothing's ever just black and white in my books – or in life, for that matter.

I'll be honest: I never thought I'd end up writing steamy dark romance with a fantasy twist. I was that quiet bookworm in the corner, devouring everything from classical literature to paranormal romance, dreaming up stories but keeping them locked away in my head. Then one day, these characters started talking to me – you know how it goes. They weren't just any characters, though. They were dangerous, seductive, and absolutely refused to play by the rules. What could I do but write their stories?

My "Empire of Sins and Souls" series is my dark little baby, and I'm thrilled (and slightly terrified) to share it with the world. When I started writing "Das gestohlene Herz," I knew I wanted to create something different. A dark prince, an irresistible count, and a web of lies so thick you'll need a sword to cut through it. Who's telling the truth? That's half the fun, isn't it? (And no, I won't tell you who to trust – where's the fun in that?)

I write spicy enemies-to-lovers romance because there's nothing quite like that delicious tension between two people who should hate each other but can't fight their attraction. Add in some fantasy elements, court intrigue, and enough steam to fog up your e-reader, and you've got my signature style. Fair warning: my characters aren't always nice. They're complex, sometimes cruel, and always compelling. They'll probably break your heart before putting it back together.

When I'm not writing about morally questionable men and the women who bring them to their knees, you can find me curled up with a good book (probably something darkly romantic), planning my next story over way too much coffee, or exploring German castles for inspiration. (Research is important, right?) My Turkish heritage often influences my world-building – there's something magical about blending different cultural elements into my fantasy realms.
