Hey there! I'm Camilla Isley, and I write romantic comedies that'll make you laugh, swoon, and possibly plan an impulsive trip to Thailand. (More on that particular adventure later!)

I've always been a sucker for love stories with a hefty dose of humor, but my path to becoming a romance author wasn't exactly straightforward. After spending years in the corporate world crunching numbers and staring at spreadsheets (trust me, it was exactly as exciting as it sounds), I finally decided to listen to that persistent voice in my head that kept whispering "write something fun!"

So here I am, crafting stories about stubborn characters who absolutely, positively cannot stand each other... until they absolutely, positively can't keep their hands off each other. I'm a firm believer that the best romance comes with a side of witty banter and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. And maybe a dash of danger. Okay, sometimes more than a dash – but I promise the laughs will balance it out!

My debut novel "From Thailand with Love" is basically what happens when you throw Indiana Jones into a blender with a rom-com and add a sprinkle of "I hate you but wow, you look good in those cargo shorts." It follows a treasure hunt through Thailand's most beautiful (and sometimes treacherous) locations, featuring two people who'd rather push each other off a cliff than admit their attraction. Spoiler alert: no one actually gets pushed off any cliffs. Well, not permanently anyway. 😉

When I'm not writing enemies-to-lovers stories or researching exotic locations (tough job, but someone's got to do it), you can find me planning my next travel adventure or attempting to recreate Thai street food in my kitchen. Results vary wildly, but hey, at least my smoke detector gets regular testing!
