Let me tell you, my journey into romance writing wasn't exactly planned. I spent years working in corporate marketing, wearing pencil skirts and pretending I wasn't secretly scribbling steamy scenes in my notebook during mind-numbing meetings. But life has a funny way of pushing you exactly where you need to be, even when you're fighting it.

One day, after my millionth coffee-fueled daydream about tattooed bad boys and the good girls who fall for them, I finally decided to stop playing it safe. I opened my laptop and started writing the kind of stories I desperately wanted to read – stories about real women finding their voice (and some seriously hot romance) along the way.

My debut novel, "Inked Love," introduces you to Lexi Reynolds, a Toronto good girl who's about to learn that sometimes breaking the rules is exactly what you need. Like Lexi, I've always been fascinated by the allure of the "wrong" choice – you know, the one your parents warned you about but secretly made your heart race? That's the tension I love to explore in my writing.

When it comes to my style, I'm all about emotional authenticity wrapped in a steamy package. I write enemies-to-lovers romance that sizzles off the page, but there's always more brewing beneath the surface. My characters aren't just falling into bed – they're falling into themselves, discovering who they really are when all the expectations and "shoulds" are stripped away. (And yes, sometimes literally stripped away. Did I mention the steam?)

I believe the best romance novels are the ones that make you feel seen. The ones where you recognize yourself in the heroine's struggles, even if you've never actually fallen for a tattooed bad boy. (Though if you have, no judgment here!) That's why my characters deal with real issues – family expectations, career crossroads, and the terrifying reality of choosing yourself for the first time.

When I'm not writing, you'll find me wandering through Toronto's eclectic neighborhoods, iced coffee in hand, people-watching for character inspiration. Or maybe I'm at home with my rescue cat, Mr. Darcy (yes, I'm that kind of romance nerd), plotting my next story while he judges my life choices from his perch on my desk.
