Hey there, book lovers! I'm Courtney Dailey, and I write the kind of twisted fairy tales that would make the Brothers Grimm blush (and probably take notes).

I've always been that weird girl who rooted for the Big Bad Wolf. You know the one - sitting in the back of English class, doodling darker versions of classic stories in my notebook while everyone else was highlighting metaphors. Spoiler alert: in my versions, Red never needed saving. She just needed someone equally dangerous to match her darkness.

Writing wasn't my first career path (is it ever?). I spent years working regular jobs, living a perfectly normal life on the surface while these deliciously dark stories brewed in my mind. Finally, in 2023, I decided to stop playing it safe and dive headfirst into the world of dark romance publishing. Because why write another sweet, cookie-cutter romance when you can twist familiar tales into something dangerously addictive?

My debut novel "RED" is exactly what it sounds like - a dark, smutty retelling of Little Red Riding Hood that would make your grandmother clutch her pearls. But trust me, this isn't your childhood bedtime story. My Red is a bratty little thing who gives our masked Big Bad Wolf a run for his money. (And yes, the mask stays on for reasons you'll have to read to discover... I'm evil like that.)

What can you expect from my books? Well... - Morally grey characters (okay, sometimes straight-up black) - Spice that'll make you fan yourself - Dark themes that might make you question your sanity (and mine) - Twisted humor because even serial killers need to laugh - And endings that aren't always wrapped in pretty bows (but I promise they're worth it)

Fair warning: I don't do trigger warnings. My books are dark. They're meant to be dark. If you're looking for sweet, safe romance, I'm probably not your girl. But if you like your fairy tales with a side of psychological thriller and enough heat to set your Kindle on fire? Pull up a chair, darling. We're going to be best friends.

When I'm not writing questionably disturbing content, I'm probably binge-watching true crime documentaries (for research, obviously), spoiling my cats, or plotting my next twisted tale. I believe the best stories are the ones that make you uncomfortable in the best possible way, and that's exactly what I aim to deliver.
