Hi! I'm Eve Riley, and I write steamy small-town romance with heroes who are way too hot to handle (literally, in the case of my firefighters). If you're looking for swoony rescues, slow-burning tension, and enough heat to rival a five-alarm fire... you're in the right place!

I never actually planned to become a romance author. Growing up in a tiny Midwest town (population: basically three cows and a stop sign), I spent most of my time dreaming up stories and "borrowing" my mom's romance novels. You know, the ones she thought she'd hidden really well behind the cookbooks? Sorry, Mom! Those dogeared pages totally gave away the good parts.

After years of working various jobs that were about as exciting as watching paint dry (seriously, I once had a job counting inventory at a paper clip factory), I finally decided to listen to that persistent voice in my head that kept whispering "write the story." So in 2023, fueled by way too much coffee and an unhealthy obsession with hot first responders, I sat down and wrote "Dawson," the first book in my Jasper Springs series.

Let me tell you about Jasper Springs. It's the kind of small town where everyone knows your business before you do, the diner's pie selection is considered breaking news, and the annual Firefighter Calendar fundraiser causes more swooning than the summer heat wave. My heroes are the kind of men who'll rescue your cat from a tree one minute and set your heart (and other things) on fire the next.

When it comes to my writing style, I believe in keeping it real. You won't find any perfect people in my books – my characters come with baggage, bad habits, and sometimes questionable decision-making skills (like that time Dawson thought climbing through his ex's window at 2 AM was a good idea). But they're also fiercely loyal, deeply passionate, and absolutely worth fighting for.

I write what I love to read: steamy romance with heart, humor, and heroes who earn their happily-ever-afters. Expect: - Firefighters who are hot in every sense of the word - Small-town charm with big-time drama - Sexual tension that'll make you fan yourself - Characters who feel like friends (or enemies... or both) - Enough steam to fog up your e-reader - And always, ALWAYS a happily ever after

When I'm not writing about sexy firefighters, you can find me attempting to garden (mostly growing weeds), binge-watching true crime documentaries (while my cat judges me), or testing new cookie recipes (someone's got to do it). I live in the Midwest with said judgmental cat, an ever-growing collection of firefighter memorabilia, and a Pinterest board full of "research" photos that would make my grandmother blush.

I'm still pretty new to this whole author thing, and honestly? Every time someone tells me they read my book, I do a little happy dance (usually while stress-eating cookies). Your support means the world to me, and I love connecting with readers!
