Hey there, beautiful dark souls! I'm Helen W Yates, and I write the kind of steamy, twisted romance that would make your grandmother clutch her pearls. (Sorry, Nana, but someone's gotta do it!)

I never set out to write romance, let alone the kind that makes readers blush and fan themselves while reading in public. My journey started in the most mundane way possible - I was a tired single mom, working a soul-crushing corporate job, dreaming up steamy scenarios during my lunch breaks just to stay sane. Those daydreams? They turned into my escape, and eventually, they became the stories I needed to tell.

Here's the thing about me: I'm fascinated by the raw, primal nature of desire. The kind that society tells us we shouldn't want. The forbidden fruit that tastes sweeter because we're not supposed to take a bite. My characters? They take the whole damn tree. (And they don't apologize for it.)

My debut novel, "Single Mom for the Biker Brothers," is exactly what it sounds like - and so much more. It's about Chloe, a woman who's been playing it safe her entire life, until she finds herself caught between two dangerous men who want to claim her as their own. It's dark. It's intense. And yes, it's deliciously wrong in all the right ways. If you're looking for sweet, vanilla romance... honey, you're in the wrong place.

I write about the kind of love that burns. The kind that leaves scars. My heroes? They're not the guys you bring home to meet your parents. They're the ones your mama warned you about - possessive, dominant, and unapologetically alpha. (Though between us, they're also the ones who'll move heaven and earth for their woman once they find her.)

When I'm not writing scenes that make my laptop steam up, I'm probably chasing after my own little tornado of a kid, binge-watching true crime documentaries (research, I swear!), or dreaming up new ways to push boundaries in my next book. Coffee is my life force, and my playlist switches between heavy metal and classical piano - because apparently, that's what my creative brain needs to function.

To my readers: I promise to never water down my stories. You'll get raw emotion, sizzling chemistry, and plots that'll keep you up way past your bedtime. My books come with trigger warnings because I believe in letting you make informed choices about what you read. But if you dare to dive in? I'll take you on a ride you won't forget.

I write for the women who crave more. More passion. More intensity. More of the forbidden fruit that mainstream romance often shies away from. My characters are flawed, complex, and sometimes morally grey - just like real people. (Except hotter. And with better dialogue.)

I'm talking age gaps, power dynamics, and situations that would make your book club blush. But underneath all that darkness? Currently, I'm working on expanding the world of my biker brothers (because two hot, possessive men are better than one, right?), and I've got some deliciously dark standalone novels in the works that I can't wait to share with you.
