Hey dark romance lovers! I'm Hilary Storm, and I write the kind of books that make your mother nervously ask "Are you okay, honey?" when she sees what you're reading. (Don't worry, I get that question a lot too.)

Let me tell you something - I never expected to end up writing about secret societies and possessive men who'll burn the world down for the women they love. But here I am, living my best life creating stories that explore the shadowy corners of romance that most people are afraid to touch. And I'm absolutely loving every twisted minute of it.

I've always been drawn to stories that make you question everything you think you know about love, power, and human nature. You know those moments when you're reading and think "I shouldn't be rooting for these characters" but you just can't help yourself? That's exactly what I live to create. My characters aren't your typical romance novel leads - they're complex, morally grey (okay, sometimes straight-up dark), and they definitely won't be winning any "Most Wholesome Character" awards anytime soon.

With my debut novel "Brotherhood of Darkness," I wanted to create something that would grab readers by the throat and not let go until the very last page. It's a story about obsession, power, and the kind of love that borders on madness. The Brotherhood isn't your friendly neighborhood secret society - they're calculating, ruthless, and they always get what they want. (And what they want is Iris... poor girl never stood a chance!)

I write for readers who like their romance with a heavy dose of psychological tension and a side of "What the hell did I just read?" If you're looking for sweet, gentle love stories where everyone makes good decisions... well, you might want to keep scrolling! But if you live for morally ambiguous heroes, secret societies with sinister agendas, and heroines who find themselves drawn into darkness despite their best intentions, pull up a chair. We're going to be great friends.

When I'm not writing scenes that make my beta readers send me concerned text messages at 3 AM, I'm probably binge-watching psychological thrillers, researching things that definitely have me on some government watchlist, or trying to convince my cat that my keyboard is not his personal lounging spot. (He's winning that battle, by the way.)

My writing process is pretty much chaos fueled by coffee and late-night inspiration. I believe the best stories are the ones that make you feel uncomfortable but unable to look away. You know that delicious tension when you're both dreading and desperately needing to know what happens next? That's my sweet spot.

For new readers diving into my work, expect: - Anti-heroes who'll make you question your moral compass - Secret societies with enough dark secrets to fill a library - Heroines who are stronger than they know - Steam levels that'll fog up your e-reader - Plot twists that'll keep you guessing - And endings that'll haunt you for days

I'm just getting started in this journey of crafting dark and twisty romances, and I couldn't be more excited to have you along for the ride. The Brotherhood of Darkness is just the beginning - I've got so many more deliciously dark stories brewing in my twisted little mind.
