Hey there! I'm Iona Rose, and I write steamy office romances that'll make you want to rethink your next job interview. (Trust me, after reading my books, you'll never look at your boss the same way again... whether that's a good or bad thing is up to you!)

I stumbled into romance writing the way most of my characters stumble into love – completely by accident and with a healthy dose of denial. By day, I was climbing the corporate ladder, drowning in spreadsheets and trying not to spill coffee on my keyboard. By night, I was scribbling down all the deliciously inappropriate workplace scenarios that definitely weren't happening in my actual office. (Thank goodness, or HR would've had a field day!)

My debut novel, "The CEO's Assistant," was born from years of watching office dynamics unfold and thinking, "But what if...?" You know those moments when the uptight boss and the determined assistant clash in the conference room? Yeah, I took those tensions and cranked them up to eleven. Because let's be honest – nothing's sexier than two stubborn people fighting their attraction while trying to maintain professional boundaries.

I write strong-willed heroines who aren't afraid to stand their ground, even when faced with impossibly handsome (and occasionally insufferable) men in expensive suits. My characters are real people with real flaws – they make mistakes, say the wrong things, and sometimes need to be hit over the head with the obvious. (Don't we all?)

When I'm not writing about boardroom tension and elevator encounters that would definitely violate company policy, I'm probably binge-watching workplace comedies for "research" or testing out new coffee shops where I can people-watch and gather inspiration. (Yes, that person furiously typing on their laptop while drinking their third oat milk latte? Probably me.)

My stories tend to walk the line between sweet and spicy – think slow-burn tension that'll make you want to throw your e-reader across the room, followed by steamy scenes that'll have you fanning yourself in public. I believe in earned happy endings, complex characters, and the kind of chemistry that jumps off the page and makes you forget you're reading.

What can you expect from my books? Well, you'll find: - Enemies-to-lovers scenarios that'll give you emotional whiplash (in the best way) - Sexual tension thick enough to cut with a letter opener - Strong heroines who don't need saving (but might enjoy it anyway) - Alpha males who learn that control isn't everything - Dialogue that'll make you snort-laugh at inappropriate moments - And enough slow burn to test your patience (sorry not sorry!)

Currently, I'm working on expanding my corporate romance universe, because apparently, I can't get enough of putting attractive people in professional settings and watching chaos ensue. There might be a grumpy CFO and a sunshine-y marketing director in your future... but you didn't hear that from me.

Fun fact: I write most of my steamy scenes while drinking chamomile tea and wearing my most comfortable pajamas. It's not exactly the glamorous author life people imagine, but it works for me! (Though I do occasionally dress up in business attire to get in character – method writing at its finest.)
