Hey there! I'm Isabella Khalidi, and I write dark fantasy romance that'll probably make your mom raise her eyebrows and your book club clutch their pearls. (But in the best way possible, I promise!)

You know those stories where the heroine makes all the "right" choices and the hero is fundamentally good at heart? Yeah... that's not what you'll find in my books. I write about morally gray characters who live in the shadows between right and wrong, who make messy choices, and who love with a fierce intensity that borders on obsession. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

My journey into writing wasn't exactly conventional. I spent years devouring every fantasy and romance book I could get my hands on, always searching for stories that pushed boundaries and ventured into darker territory. But something was missing. I wanted tales that combined the epic scope of fantasy with the raw emotional intensity of dark romance – stories where the stakes were life-or-death and the love was all-consuming. So I decided to write them myself.

When I'm not crafting worlds filled with dangerous princes and destined heroines, you'll probably find me binge-watching historical documentaries (research, I swear!), collecting way too many crystals (my writing desk looks like a metaphysical shop exploded), or trying to convince my cat that my keyboard is not, in fact, the most comfortable spot in the house.

My debut novel, "The Sands of Titans," is the third installment in the Forgotten Kingdom series, and it's really my love letter to all the readers who crave stories that don't fit neatly into boxes. It follows Duna, a woman whose entire life has been built on carefully constructed lies, and a dark prince who thinks he has everything figured out. (Spoiler alert: he doesn't.) Their story is about memory, manipulation, and the kind of love that burns hot enough to turn sand into glass.

I believe the best romances are the ones that make you question everything – including yourself. Why do we root for characters who probably deserve redemption but haven't earned it yet? What makes us fall in love with the villain? These are the questions I love exploring in my writing, along with themes of power, destiny, and the prices we're willing to pay for love.

Fair warning: my books aren't for everyone. If you're looking for light, fluffy romance, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you love: - Morally ambiguous characters who'll ruin your life (in the best way) - Sexual tension that could power a small city - Plot twists that'll keep you up until 3 AM - Worldbuilding that feels like a fever dream in the best possible way - Spice that'll make you fan yourself (and maybe check over your shoulder)

...then we're going to get along just fine.

Your messages, theories, and occasional death threats (when I leave you on particularly nasty cliffhangers) make this whole crazy writing adventure worth it. Currently, I'm working on more stories set in the Forgotten Kingdom world, because apparently, I can't stay away from writing about dangerous magic and complicated relationships. And yes, they'll be just as dark and twisty as you've come to expect from me. (Would you expect anything less?)
