Before I started writing about dangerous men and the women who can't resist them, I was actually practicing law. Yeah, you read that right - I spent years dealing with real-life villains in the courtroom. Maybe that's why I have such a knack for writing morally gray characters who blur all those neat little lines between right and wrong. Let's just say my time as an attorney gave me plenty of inspiration for the manipulative, power-hungry alphas who populate my books!

I'll be honest - my journey into writing wasn't some carefully planned career change. It started as my guilty pleasure escape from legal briefs and court appearances. I'd come home after a long day of arguing cases, pour myself a generous glass of wine (okay, sometimes the whole bottle), and lose myself in creating these deliciously dark worlds where consent is complicated and happy endings aren't guaranteed. Before I knew it, I was completely hooked on storytelling.

If you've picked up my latest book "Devil's Thirst," you already know I don't do sweet and fluffy romance. My stories live in those shadowy spaces where obsession meets desire, where the line between stalking and protection gets real blurry real fast. That tattooed neighbor who makes your pulse race even though every instinct screams "danger"? Yeah, he's probably one of mine.

My characters aren't your typical romance novel leads. My heroes (if you can call them that - anti-heroes is probably more accurate) are possessive, intense, and sometimes straight-up terrifying. They're the kind of men who'll burn down the world to protect what's theirs... even if what they claim was never really theirs to begin with. And my heroines? They're complex women fighting their own battles between desire and self-preservation.

When I'm not writing about dangerous men and forbidden attraction, I'm probably chasing my kids around (they're way harder to control than my characters), binge-watching true crime documentaries for "research" (at least that's what I tell my husband), or plotting my next dark romance while pretending to pay attention during PTA meetings.

I believe the best stories are the ones that make you question your own moral compass. You know the feeling - when you find yourself rooting for the villain, understanding the stalker, or hoping the kidnapper gets the girl? That delicious mix of guilt and excitement is exactly what I'm going for. My books aren't for everyone, and I'm totally okay with that. If you're looking for sweet, safe romance, I'm definitely not your girl.

But if you live for those stories that make your heart race and your conscience squirm, pull up a chair. In my world, the darkest nights lead to the most passionate encounters, consent is a moving target, and redemption comes with a body count. My characters will get under your skin and stay there long after you turn the last page.

Fair warning: my books come with trigger warnings for a reason. I don't shy away from the darker aspects of desire and obsession. But I promise to take you on one hell of a ride, complete with enough steam to fog up your e-reader and plot twists that'll keep you up way past your bedtime.
