Hey there! I'm Juliette Banks, and I write steamy billionaire romance with a darker edge. (Yes, I know there are approximately eight million billionaire romances out there, but trust me - mine have teeth. Sometimes literally.)

I never expected to end up writing about powerful men falling desperately in love while navigating family dynasties and corporate takeovers. Actually, I started out as a corporate lawyer in Manhattan, spending way too many hours poring over contracts and acquisition agreements. Those late nights at the office gave me an inside look at the real world of high-stakes business... and the complicated men who run it. Let's just say some of my most dramatic plot twists are inspired by things I witnessed firsthand. Names changed to protect the guilty, of course!

After burning out from 80-hour work weeks (and maybe having one too many glasses of wine while editing legal documents at 2 AM), I started writing steamy scenes on my phone during my subway commute. What began as stress relief quickly turned into an obsession. Within six months, I had quit my cushy law job to write full-time. My mother still hasn't quite recovered from that announcement.

The Dufort Dynasty series was born from my fascination with family power dynamics and the weight of legacy. I love exploring how duty and desire collide, especially when there are billions of dollars (and more than a few dangerous secrets) at stake. Logan's story in Dark Surrender is particularly special to me - there's something deliciously meta about writing a billionaire CEO who falls for a romance author. What can I say? Write what you know... or what you wish you knew!

My heroes tend to be unapologetically dominant, occasionally morally ambiguous, and always complex. They've usually got corner offices, custom suits, and enough emotional baggage to fill a private jet. The heroines? Smart, fierce, and absolutely not interested in being anyone's trophy wife. The chemistry between them is explosive, the power plays are intense, and the happily-ever-afters are hard-won.

When I'm not writing scenes that would make my former law partners blush, you can find me wandering around New York City with an overpriced coffee, people-watching for character inspiration. I live in a tiny apartment with my rescue cat, Bonaparte (yes, he's just as imperious as his namesake), and an ever-growing collection of legal thrillers I keep meaning to read but never do because I'm too busy writing spicy scenes.

Fair warning: my books aren't your typical sweet billionaire romances. Expect corporate intrigue, family drama, steamy encounters in inappropriate places (that conference room will never be the same), and heroes who definitely need therapy but would rather buy another company instead. There's usually a healthy dose of revenge plotting, at least one scene involving a private helicopter, and enough sexual tension to power Manhattan during a blackout.

I love connecting with readers on Instagram and in my Facebook reader group, "Banks' Billionaire Book Club" (where we regularly debate which Dufort brother is the hottest - it's getting heated in there!). Nothing makes me happier than hearing from readers who've stayed up way too late reading "just one more chapter."
