Hi there! I'm Katee Robert, and I write deliciously dark romance that probably shouldn't turn you on as much as it does. (But let's be honest - that's half the fun, right?)

I grew up devouring romance novels I definitely wasn't supposed to be reading at that age, hiding them between the pages of more "acceptable" books. Those forbidden stories sparked something in me that never quite went away. Now I write the kinds of books that would've made teenage-me blush and adult-me fan myself while looking over my shoulder to make sure no one can see what I'm reading.

My journey into writing wasn't exactly straightforward. I started out thinking I needed a "real" career (whatever that means), but those steamy stories kept calling to me. Finally, I decided life was too short not to write the books I wanted to read. Turns out, a lot of other people wanted to read them too! Who knew?

I specialize in taking familiar tropes and twisting them into something darker, sexier, and delightfully wrong. Greek mythology retellings? I'll make them burn with forbidden desire. Fairy tales? Let's add some corruption and power plays. I love exploring the thin line between pleasure and pain, between right and wrong, between "I shouldn't" and "I absolutely must."

My latest series kicks off with "Wicked Pursuit and Divine Intervention," set in the decadent world of the Black Rose Auction. Picture this: New York's elite gathering for three days of luxury, sin, and secrets, where everything (and everyone) has a price. It's got all the elements I love - power dynamics, moral gray areas, and chemistry that'll steam up your e-reader screen. (Maybe don't read this one on public transport unless you're really good at keeping a poker face.)

When I'm not writing scenes that make my characters question their morals (and my readers question their sanity), I'm probably plotting my next series or hanging out with my readers online. I love connecting with my romance community - there's something magical about finding your people who don't judge you for enjoying the darker side of love stories.

My writing philosophy? Push boundaries. Question everything. Make it hot. Make it meaningful. And never, ever apologize for giving your characters exactly what they need, even if it's not what society says they should want.

Fair warning: my books aren't for everyone, and I'm totally okay with that. If you like your romance safe and sweet, I'm probably not your girl.
