Hey there, dark souls! I'm Kitty Stone, and I write the kind of romance that makes your mother clutch her pearls and your therapist raise an eyebrow. (Don't worry - mine does too.)

Let me get this out of the way first: if you're looking for sweet, gentle love stories where everyone behaves... you're definitely in the wrong place. I write dark, twisted tales about monsters and the women who bring out their humanity - or sometimes, the women who embrace their own inner darkness right alongside them.

I never set out to become an author of dark romance. Truth be told, I spent years trying to write "normal" stories that wouldn't make my family members question my mental health at holiday dinners. But those stories never felt authentic. The characters in my head were always darker, more complex, more damaged. They demanded to be written their way, not stuffed into neat little boxes with pretty bows on top.

When I finally gave in and let my darker side take control of the keyboard, everything clicked. My first dark romance, "Uncaged - Das Monster," poured out of me like a fever dream. It's the story of a man turned into a literal fighting machine, stripped of everything but his primal nature, and the woman who sees past his violence to the broken soul beneath. (Though let's be real - she's got some deliciously dark edges of her own.)

My latest release, "Teach me - Unterwerfung gelehrt," pushes even more boundaries. A twisted professor at an elite girls' school? Yeah, I went there. And I didn't hold back. It's the kind of story that makes some readers slam their Kindles shut... while others stay up until 3 AM, unable to look away from the beautiful disaster unfolding on their screens.

When I'm not writing scenes that would make Satan blush, I'm probably cuddling with my rescue cats (yes, the dark romance author is a crazy cat lady - surprise!), binge-watching true crime documentaries for "research" (at least that's what I tell myself), or adding to my collection of weird antiques that definitely aren't cursed. Probably.

My writing process is chaotic at best. I write at odd hours, fueled by too much coffee and the persistent whispers of characters who won't shut up until their stories are told. My notes app is filled with ideas that would make my FBI agent question their career choices. But hey, that's where the magic happens, right?

What can you expect from a Kitty Stone book? Raw, unfiltered darkness with a side of redemption (sometimes). Complex characters who blur the lines between good and evil. Spice that'll make you fan yourself. And underneath it all, love stories that prove even the most damaged souls can find their match - though their version of happily ever after might look a little different than most.

Fair warning: my books come with more trigger warnings than a haunted house on Halloween. They're not for everyone, and that's okay.
