I never expected to become a romance author who makes readers blush about stethoscopes and exam tables. Funny how life works out, right? After spending years working in healthcare administration, I had a front-row seat to all the behind-the-scenes drama and tension in medical settings. Trust me, those long hospital night shifts are fertile ground for storytelling. I started writing steamy scenes on my lunch breaks, and before I knew it, I had an entire manuscript filled with forbidden doctor-patient romance.

My debut novel "Deeply Examined" started as a way to process all the what-ifs and chemistry I witnessed between medical professionals and their patients. You know those moments – when the attractive doctor walks in and suddenly your heart monitor starts beeping a little faster? Yeah, I turned that into 400 pages of deliciously wrong romance. (My mom still won't read it, which I take as a compliment.)

I write about complex power dynamics, ethical dilemmas, and the intense emotional and physical connections that can develop in medical settings. My characters are flawed, professional, and fighting against both their desires and their ethical codes. Dr. Adam West might be the forbidden fruit, but he's also a deeply principled man struggling with his attraction to Jessica. And Jessica? She's no damsel in distress – she's a strong woman who knows exactly what (and who) she wants.

When I'm not writing steamy exam room scenes, I'm probably binge-watching medical dramas (for research, obviously), drinking way too much coffee, or hanging out with my rescue dog, Scrubs (yes, named after the show – I'm that kind of nerd). I live in Boston, which means I spend half my year wrapped in blankets, writing spicy scenes to keep warm.

My writing style? Think "Grey's Anatomy" meets "Fifty Shades," but with more medical accuracy and complex emotional stakes. I'm all about that slow burn tension, detailed medical scenarios (that are actually realistic), and exploring the fine line between professional boundaries and undeniable attraction. Fair warning: my books will probably ruin your ability to maintain a straight face during your next physical.

What can readers expect from my books? Heat. Lots of it. But also heart. My characters deal with real medical issues, ethical dilemmas, and the complicated mess that comes with falling for someone you absolutely shouldn't.
