Let me tell you something - I never expected to end up writing dark romance. I was that quiet kid in the back of the classroom, scribbling stories about monsters and shadows while everyone else was taking notes. Turns out those monsters were just waiting for their moment to become anti-heroes. Who knew?

Growing up on a steady diet of Gothic literature and psychological thrillers warped my brain in the most perfect way. While other writers were crafting swoony meet-cutes, I was dreaming up scenarios that would make even Edgar Allan Poe raise an eyebrow. Sorry not sorry!

My debut novel "My Kind of Monster" introduced readers to Niklas Bergman - the kind of predator who stalks through silent woods and haunts your darkest fantasies. (Let's be honest, we all have those fantasies we don't talk about at Sunday brunch.) I love exploring those shadowy spaces between desire and fear, consent and captivity, monster and man. The stories that make you question your own moral compass while frantically turning pages at 3 AM? Those are my jam.

When I'm not writing scenes that would make my mother blush (hi Mom, please don't read my books!), I'm probably wandering through old cemeteries for inspiration or binge-watching true crime documentaries. My cats judge me silently from their perches, but they're stuck with me.

Here's what you should know about my books: they're dark. Like, really dark. We're talking triggers-on-triggers dark. I write about obsession, possession, and the kind of love that bleeds. My characters aren't looking for happily-ever-after - they're hunting for happily-even-after-everything. If you're seeking sweet romance with clean-cut heroes, I'm definitely not your girl. (May I suggest the cookbook section?)

But if you live for those grey areas where consent gets murky and morality takes a vacation? Pull up a chair, darling. We're going to be best friends.

I believe romance doesn't always have to be hearts and flowers. Sometimes it's blood and thorns. Sometimes it's the monster under your bed becoming the one you can't live without. My stories explore those dangerous attractions we're not supposed to have, the ones society tells us to lock away. I just set them free instead.

Fair warning: my books contain themes that might make you uncomfortable. Good. They're supposed to. I write about dubious consent, psychological manipulation, and the kind of possessive love that borders on madness. My characters are broken, twisted, and absolutely unapologetic about it. They'll probably ruin you for normal romance... but isn't that half the fun?

To my readers - you beautiful, twisted souls - thank you for diving into these dark waters with me. Your messages about staying up all night reading, about finding unexpected beauty in the darkness, about loving characters you know you shouldn't... they make all the therapy bills worth it.
