Hi there! *waves awkwardly while trying to look mysterious and failing* I'm Livia Grey, and I write dark romance that'll make you question your life choices... in the best possible way.

Let me tell you a secret: I never meant to write romance at all. I was that quiet girl in the back of the classroom, scribbling twisted stories in my notebook while everyone else paid attention to calculus. (Sorry, Mr. Peterson, but creating morally grey characters was way more interesting than derivatives.) But there was always something missing from my stories until I discovered that adding romance to darkness created the perfect storm.

My debut novel "Dark Entanglement" introduced readers to my particular brand of chaos – a marriage deal romance where hatred burns so hot it turns into something else entirely. Gideon Maxwell stormed onto the page as this utterly insufferable, arrogant force of nature, and poor Sophia never stood a chance. (Though between us, she gives as good as she gets.)

I'm drawn to writing characters who exist in those shadowy spaces between right and wrong. My heroes? They're not heroes at all. They're complicated, sometimes cruel, always compelling men who probably need therapy more than they need love. But love finds them anyway, usually in the form of a woman who refuses to break, no matter how hard they push.

When I'm not torturing my characters (professionally, of course), you'll find me curled up with my rescue cat Luna, drinking way too much coffee, and contemplating how to make my next book even darker. I live in Germany, which probably explains my fondness for brooding characters and complex emotional landscapes. The long winter nights here are perfect for brewing up deliciously twisted plots.

My writing style? Think Gothic romance meets modern power plays, with a healthy dose of emotional warfare thrown in. I love exploring the thin line between love and hate, obsession and devotion, power and surrender. My stories aren't your typical romance – they're raw, intense, and sometimes uncomfortable. But I promise to always lead you through the darkness to a satisfying end. (Even if we take some questionable detours along the way.)

Fair warning: if you're looking for sweet, uncomplicated romance, I'm probably not your girl. My books come with trigger warnings for a reason. But if you like your love stories served with a side of psychological tension, morally ambiguous decisions, and characters who are beautifully broken, pull up a chair. We're going to get along just fine.
