Hi! I'm Lynn Raye Harris, and I write steamy romantic suspense that'll keep you up way past your bedtime. (Trust me, I've lost plenty of sleep writing these stories myself!)

I'm a former military brat who grew up moving around the world, which probably explains my fascination with strong, capable heroes in uniform. After earning my degree in Literary Arts from the University of North Alabama (go Lions!), I spent years dreaming of writing while working various jobs that had nothing to do with putting words on paper. But those stories kept rattling around in my head, demanding to be told.

My big break came when I won Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart® Award for a manuscript that eventually became my first published novel. Since then, I've been blessed to hit the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists multiple times, though I still pinch myself whenever I think about it. (Seriously, sometimes I wonder if this is all just a really good dream!)

I specialize in writing about alpha males with hearts of gold and the strong women who bring them to their knees. My heroes are usually military or ex-military men who've seen the worst humanity has to offer but still believe in protecting others. And my heroines? They're smart, capable women who don't need saving - but sometimes find themselves in situations where a little help from a gorgeous, skilled operative isn't unwelcome.

My HOT (Hostile Operations Team) series has been my baby for years now, following an elite special operations group as they tackle dangerous missions and find love in the most unexpected places. "Hot Secrets" kicked off a new chapter in the series, featuring a computer hacker heroine who nearly destroyed the hero's life - and now needs his protection. (I love throwing my characters together in impossible situations and watching them figure it out!)

When I'm not writing about dangerous men and the women who love them, I'm probably reading, binge-watching crime shows (research, I swear!), or spending time with my family in Alabama. My husband is a former military man himself, which definitely helps with the authenticity in my books. Though I have to admit, sometimes he rolls his eyes at my more... creative action sequences.

I believe in writing books that grab you from page one and don't let go until the very end. My stories are fast-paced, emotional, and packed with enough heat to fog up your e-reader. Fair warning: there will be danger, there will be steam, and there will absolutely be moments where you want to shake the characters. (But I promise it'll all be worth it in the end!)

To my readers - thank you for coming along on this adventure with me. Your messages, reviews, and support mean the world to me. There's nothing better than hearing from someone who stayed up all night because they couldn't put one of my books down. (Though I do feel a little guilty about all the coffee you probably needed the next day!)
