Let me tell you, I never expected to end up here, writing stories about vampires, warlocks, and morally grey characters who probably deserve a therapy session more than they deserve love. But these dark and twisty tales have always lived in my head, keeping me up at night until I finally gave in and started putting them on paper.

My journey into writing started the way most good horror stories do—late at night, alone with my thoughts, wondering "what if?" What if the monsters weren't just monsters? What if the darkness had its own story to tell? What if the villain deserved to be more than just... well, villainous? (Spoiler alert: they usually do.)

I'm a firm believer that the best love stories aren't always pretty. Sometimes they're messy, complicated, and yeah, occasionally bloody. My books aren't for the faint of heart—they're for readers who like their romance with sharp teeth and sharper wit. If you're looking for sweet, fluffy stories where everyone plays nice... *awkward cough* ...you might want to look elsewhere.

When I started writing "A Shift in Death," I knew I wanted to create something different. Something that would grab readers by the throat (sometimes literally) and drag them into a world where gods demand their due, where family isn't just about blood, and where love can be both salvation and damnation. The response from readers has been incredible, and watching this dark little world of mine come to life through their eyes has been nothing short of magical.

"A Shift in Night" continues this journey, diving deeper into the shadows where warlocks make dangerous deals and vampires aren't just brooding pretty boys who sparkle in the sunlight. (Though don't get me wrong—some of them are pretty. Dangerously pretty.) This book pushed me to explore just how far someone would go to protect their family, and what happens when the price of protection comes with chains attached.

When I'm not writing about supernatural beings with questionable morals, you can find me binge-watching true crime documentaries (research, I swear!), drinking way too much coffee (the good stuff, none of that instant nonsense), and trying to convince my cat that my keyboard is not, in fact, the most comfortable spot in the house. Sometimes I win that battle. Usually, I don't.

I write the kind of books I always wanted to read—stories that aren't afraid to embrace the darkness, that celebrate the complex and the broken, and that prove love can bloom in the most unlikely places. My characters aren't heroes in the traditional sense. They're survivors, fighters, and sometimes they're the monsters other people run from. But they're real. (Well, as real as vampires and warlocks can be.)

To my readers: thank you for joining me in this dark little corner of the romance world. Your messages, theories, and occasional death threats (when I leave you on cliffhangers) mean everything to me. You're my kind of weird, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
