Hey there! I'm Michelle L., and I write steamy romance novels that probably shouldn't be read in public (trust me, I've gotten some interesting looks while editing at coffee shops).

I stumbled into romance writing almost by accident. After years of devouring every romance novel I could get my hands on—seriously, my Kindle library is embarrassingly massive—I finally decided to put my own stories on paper. You know that feeling when you finish an amazing book and think "I wish there was more"? That's basically what pushed me into writing. Well, that and the fact that my friends were tired of hearing me complain about plot holes in other books. (Sorry, not sorry!)

My debut novel "Versaute Neuigkeiten" marked my first venture into the world of billionaire romance. I have a weakness for bad boys with deep pockets and even deeper emotional wounds. There's just something irresistible about a powerful man who meets his match in a woman who won't take any of his BS. And yes, I absolutely write the kind of scenes that'll make you blush on public transport—consider yourself warned!

I specialize in enemies-to-lovers stories because, let's be honest, the tension is just *chef's kiss*. Nothing gets my creative juices flowing like writing those heated arguments that are clearly just foreplay in disguise. My characters tend to be stubborn, passionate, and more than a little broken. But don't worry—I always make sure they earn their happy ending. (Even if I put them through hell first...)

When I'm not torturing my characters with sexual tension and emotional angst, you can usually find me curled up with a cup of coffee and my laptop, plotting new ways to make my readers swoon. Or cry. Sometimes both at once. I live in Germany with my ever-patient partner who's learned to accept my 3 AM writing binges and my tendency to talk about my characters like they're real people.

My writing style? Think spicy scenes that'll fog up your reading glasses, mixed with enough emotional depth to make you genuinely care about the characters. I love exploring power dynamics, especially when they get flipped upside down. And while my heroes might start out as total jerks (looking at you, Mr. Billionaire), they always have a good reason for their bad behavior. Not that it excuses them—but it makes for some delicious character development.

What can you expect from my books? Plenty of heat, for starters. I don't fade to black (where's the fun in that?). You'll get strong heroines who don't take crap from anyone, even sexy billionaires. There will be angst—because what's a good romance without a little heartache? And humor, because I can't help myself from throwing in some witty banter.

Fair warning: I tend to write characters who are morally grey at best. If you're looking for perfectly behaved heroes who never push boundaries, my books probably aren't for you. But if you like your romance with a side of danger and don't mind a few questionable decisions along the way to true love, we'll get along just fine.
