Born and raised in the vibrant chaos of São Paulo, I grew up surrounded by stories of old money families, corporate scandals, and the kind of drama you can only find in Latin America's biggest city. My mother always said I had an overactive imagination – turns out she was right, but not in the way she expected. Instead of becoming a lawyer like the rest of my family (sorry, Mom!), I fell head-first into writing the kind of books that would make my grandmother clutch her pearls.

My stories are messy, complicated, and dripping with the raw intensity that comes from mixing Brazilian passion with dark desires. My debut novel, "Marriage by Interest," introduces you to João Antônio Junior (though he prefers Johnny – he's complicated like that). He's the kind of heir who has everything money can buy but nothing that truly matters. After losing his parents in a tragic plane crash, he's left navigating São Paulo's elite social circles while trying to protect his heart... and his empire. (Spoiler alert: He's not very successful at the heart part.)

When I write, I love diving deep into the unique dynamics of Brazilian high society – a world where old money meets new ambitions, where family names carry both privilege and crushing expectations. It's a place where marriages are still sometimes treated like business mergers, and love... well, love is often considered a liability. But don't worry, I make sure it wins in the end. (Usually. Mostly. Sometimes after putting everyone through emotional hell first.)

I write in both Portuguese and English because these stories deserve to be told in both languages. There's something magical about capturing the essence of Brazilian culture while making it accessible to readers worldwide. Yes, you'll find Portuguese phrases sprinkled throughout my books – don't worry, I'll teach you the good ones! 😉

When I'm not writing, you can find me wandering through São Paulo's hidden cafes, eavesdropping on conversations (hey, it's research!), or trying to convince my cat that my laptop keyboard is not his personal bed. I'm fueled by strong coffee, pão de queijo, and the kind of family drama that only comes from having three opinionated aunts who all think they know what's best for my love life.
