Hey there, dark romance lovers! I'm Penny Chapman, and I write the kind of stories that would make my Catholic school teachers clutch their rosaries. (Sorry not sorry, Sister Margaret.)

Let me tell you, I never expected to be here writing steamy dark romance novels that explore the shadowy corners of desire and redemption. Growing up in a strict Catholic household, I spent years trying to be the "good girl" – you know the type. Perfect grades, perfect manners, always following the rules. But there was this other side of me, the one that was fascinated by the bad boys, the fallen angels, the ones who lived outside society's neat little boxes.

My debut novel "Broken Saint" poured out of me like a confession I couldn't hold back anymore. It's the story I needed to tell, weaving together themes of faith, temptation, and the blurred lines between salvation and damnation. When Dario Santoca walked into my head (demanding attention like the arrogant devil he is), I knew I had to write his story. And let's just say, he brought friends. Very dangerous, very sexy friends who all wanted their stories told too.

I write dark romance that doesn't shy away from the gritty stuff. My characters aren't your typical romance novel leads – they're complex, morally gray, and sometimes downright wicked. But that's what makes them real to me. Life isn't black and white, and neither is love. Sometimes the most beautiful relationships grow in the darkest places.

When I'm not writing sinfully delicious scenes that would definitely get me excommunicated (kidding... mostly), you can find me binge-watching true crime documentaries, spoiling my rescue cat Lucifer (yes, that's really his name – he earned it), or adding to my collection of antique religious artifacts. There's something poetic about having a saint's medallion on my desk while I write smut, don't you think?

My writing style? Think Gothic romance meets modern mafia, with a healthy dose of religious imagery and forbidden desire. I love playing with the contrast between sacred and profane, innocence and corruption. And yes, there will be spice. The kind that burns so good you can't stop reading, even when you know you should.

To my readers: I promise to always keep it real. My stories aren't for everyone, and that's okay. They're for the ones who understand that love isn't always pretty, that sometimes it comes with blood on its hands and darkness in its heart. If you're looking for sweet, clean romance, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you're ready to explore the shadows with me, if you're willing to question everything you thought you knew about good and evil, then welcome to my world.

What's next? Oh, honey, Dario's friends are getting impatient. Their stories are darker, more twisted, and absolutely refusing to leave me alone until I write them. I'm currently working on the next book in the series (fueled by way too much coffee and the occasional whispered prayer for forgiveness).
