Hey there! I'm Rebel Hart, and I write steamy sports romance that'll make you question your loyalty to your favorite football team. (Because let's be real - my fictional players are way hotter.)

I never expected to end up writing romance novels. Growing up in a tiny Midwest town where Friday night lights were practically a religion, I was that girl who knew more football stats than the guys and spent way too much time daydreaming about what happened in the locker room after the game. Spoiler alert: those daydreams eventually turned into books!

After spending years working in sports marketing (yes, with actual professional athletes - no, I won't name names), I finally decided to put all those behind-the-scenes stories and "what if" scenarios to good use. My first book, Team Hate, basically wrote itself during a caffeine-fueled weekend when I was supposed to be doing my taxes. Oops. But hey, sometimes procrastination leads to the best decisions, right?

I write the kind of romance that feels like you're watching your favorite sports movie, except with way more sexual tension and definitely no fade-to-black scenes. My characters are messy, complicated, and sometimes make terrible decisions - just like real people! There's plenty of witty banter (because who doesn't love a good verbal sparring match?), steamy locker room encounters, and enough sports references to make you sound like an expert at your next Super Bowl party.

Team Hate is my baby - a enemies-to-lovers story featuring a cocky quarterback who meets his match in a no-nonsense sports journalist who absolutely refuses to fall for his charm. (Spoiler: she totally does.) It's got all the tension of rivalry week with the heat of mid-August two-a-days. The response from readers has been incredible, and nothing makes me happier than getting messages about how you stayed up until 3 AM because you "just had to know what happened next."

When I'm not writing, you can find me at football games (obviously), attempting to teach my rescue pit bull that my shoes are not chew toys, or testing new margarita recipes (it's research for future books, I swear). I live in Chicago now, where I spend way too much money on sports tickets and coffee. My apartment is decorated with a concerning amount of team memorabilia, and yes, I do own multiple jersey dresses because they're cute AND comfortable.

I believe romance should be fun, sexy, and just realistic enough to make you wonder if that hot athlete you follow on Instagram might have a secret soft side. My books will always have: - Strong heroines who don't need saving (but might enjoy it occasionally) - Heroes who are cocky on the field but secretly sweet - Sports drama that'll have you googling "how does NFL trading actually work?" - Heat levels that'll make you fan yourself in public - Happy endings (because we deserve them!)

I'm currently working on more sports romances (hockey players, anyone?), and I can't wait to share them with you all.
