Let me tell you something - I never set out to write stories that would make readers frantically flip pages at 3 AM, wondering if their protagonist is actually the villain. But here we are. My journey into writing started with an obsession with true crime cases where nothing was quite what it seemed. I'm particularly fascinated by those moments when ordinary people make split-second decisions that spiral into extraordinary consequences. Take Thomas Tenna from my novel "The Crime and the Criminal" - one heated argument on a train, one moment of inaction, and suddenly he's caught in a web of deception that keeps getting tighter. (If you've ever had that pit-in-your-stomach feeling after making a terrible choice, you'll know exactly what I mean.)

My writing style? Let's call it "psychological suspense with a side of moral ambiguity." I love playing with unreliable narrators, mistaken identities, and those gray areas where right and wrong aren't so clear-cut. My characters aren't heroes or villains - they're complex people making questionable choices under impossible circumstances. Sometimes they'll surprise you. Sometimes they'll horrify you. Usually both.

When I'm not putting my characters through psychological hell (it's my job, I have to), I'm probably reading old case files or people-watching at train stations. There's something about railway journeys that brings out the storyteller in me - maybe it's all those strangers with secrets, passing like ships in the night. Or maybe I just drink too much coffee. (Probably both.)
