Hi there! I'm Robin Lovett, and I write dark, twisted romance that'll probably make your mother clutch her pearls. (Sorry, Mom.) But if you're here, I'm guessing you like your love stories with a heavy dose of danger and psychological tension too.

I've always been drawn to the darker side of romance – you know, the stories where the line between love and obsession gets deliciously blurry. Growing up, I devoured every gothic romance I could get my hands on, always rooting for the mysterious, dangerous men that good girls were supposed to run from. Turns out, I wasn't alone in my fascination with the shadows.

My journey into writing started the way many authors' do: scribbling steamy scenes in notebooks I prayed my family would never find. But it wasn't until I embraced my love for psychological suspense and morally gray characters that I truly found my voice. I realized there was an audience hungry for romances that weren't afraid to venture into uncomfortable territory.

When I wrote "Stranger," I wanted to create a revenge story that would make readers question everything they thought they knew about right and wrong. My anti-hero isn't your typical misunderstood bad boy – he's calculating, ruthless, and dead-set on destroying my heroine's world. But here's the thing about hatred: sometimes it burns so hot it turns into something else entirely. (And yes, that something else is usually explosive bedroom scenes. I'm not sorry about that either.)

"Keeper" took things even darker, exploring what happens when you break into the fortress of a man who was never meant to be found. It's about the dangerous territory between obsession and love, and how sometimes the scariest thing isn't the monster under your bed – it's realizing you might be one yourself.

My writing style? Think psychological thriller meets erotic romance, with a splash of "I should NOT be rooting for these people but I absolutely am." I love exploring power dynamics, revenge plots, and the kind of attraction that feels more like a freefall than a flutter of butterflies. My characters aren't looking for gentle first kisses – they're circling each other like predators, waiting to strike.

Fair warning: my books aren't for everyone. If you're looking for sweet, gentle romance with clear-cut good guys and bad guys, you might want to keep browsing. But if you like your romance with sharp edges, morally ambiguous characters, and the kind of tension that makes you hold your breath? Pull up a chair. We're going to get along just fine.

When I'm not writing about dangerous men and the women who bring them to their knees (or vice versa), I'm probably reading similar books, plotting new ways to torture my characters, or trying to convince my cat that my laptop keyboard is not, in fact, the most comfortable spot in the house. (It's a losing battle.)

To my readers: thank you for being as twisted as I am. There's nothing better than connecting with people who understand that sometimes the best love stories start with "I hate you" and end with "I can't live without you" – with plenty of delicious darkness in between.
