Hey there! I'm Roxanna C Revell, and I write dark romantic suspense that'll keep you up way past your bedtime (sorry not sorry). If you're looking for sweet, fluffy romance where everything works out perfectly... well, you might want to look elsewhere. My stories live in the shadows where good and bad aren't so clearly defined.

I never actually meant to become a writer. Funny how life works out, right? I spent years working in corporate finance (trust me, it was exactly as thrilling as it sounds), crunching numbers and dreaming up twisted scenarios to make my days more interesting. Eventually, those daydreams refused to stay quiet. They demanded to be written down, and who was I to argue?

My debut novel "One More Secret" started as one of those what-if scenarios that wouldn't leave me alone: What happens when three masked men show up at a family gathering with very specific demands? How far would someone go to protect the people they love? And most importantly – what secrets are worth killing for? (Because let's be real, every family has secrets. Some are just deadlier than others.)

I'm drawn to writing about complex relationships under extreme pressure. You know those moments when everything goes sideways and you discover who people really are? That's my sweet spot. I love exploring the gray areas between right and wrong, especially when my characters are forced to make impossible choices. And yes, there will be romance – the kind that burns slow and hot and maybe leaves a few scars along the way.

When I'm not putting my characters through hell (it's my job, okay?), you'll find me curled up with my rescue cat Phantom (yes, named after Phantom of the Opera – I'm that kind of theatre nerd), drinking way too much coffee, and plotting my next story. I live in the Pacific Northwest where the constant rain provides the perfect backdrop for writing dark tales.

Fair warning: my books aren't for everyone. They deal with heavy themes, morally questionable choices, and situations that might make you uncomfortable. But if you like your romance with a heavy dose of suspense, characters who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty, and endings that you have to fight for... well, you're my kind of reader.

I believe in creating stories that feel real, even in their darkest moments. That means my characters aren't perfect – they're messy, complicated, and sometimes they make terrible decisions. But isn't that what makes them human? And let's be honest, the most interesting people usually have a few skeletons in their closet. (Sometimes literally, in my books.)
