Hi there! I'm Sapphire Knight, and I write dark romance that'll make your mama blush and your kindle overheat. (Don't say I didn't warn you!)

I've always been drawn to the shadows, those deliciously dangerous corners of storytelling where good girls meet bad boys and morality gets... complicated. Growing up in a small town, I spent way too much time daydreaming about mysterious men in black SUVs and secret societies that ruled from the shadows. Turns out those fantasies would come in pretty handy later!

Writing wasn't my first career path (is it ever?). I actually spent years working in corporate America, wearing sensible heels and pretending I wasn't plotting sinfully dark scenarios in my head during budget meetings. But those stories kept calling to me, especially late at night when I should've been sleeping. Finally, I decided to listen.

My debut novel, "Brotherhood of Darkness," is my love letter to all the twisted romance readers who like their heroes morally gray (okay, maybe straight-up black) and their love stories with a heavy dose of danger. It's about a woman named Iris who finds herself caught in the web of an ancient secret society – and the three men who've been watching her, waiting for her, planning to claim her as their own. (Yeah, it's that kind of book 😈)

What can you expect from my books? Well, let's see: • Multiple possessive heroes who don't play nice with others • Heroines who are stronger than they know • Secret societies with dangerous agendas • Steamy scenes that'll fog up your reading glasses • Plot twists that'll keep you up way past your bedtime • And absolutely NO guarantee of a conventional HEA

When I'm not writing about dangerous men and the women who bring them to their knees, you can usually find me binge-watching true crime documentaries (research, I swear!), spoiling my rescue cats rotten, or adding to my embarrassingly large collection of scented candles. (My current writing cave smells like "Midnight Garden" – very on-brand, right?)

I believe romance should be whatever the hell we want it to be. Sweet, dark, twisted, taboo – there's room for all of it. My books definitely land on the darker side of the spectrum, and I make no apologies for that. If you're looking for cute meet-cutes and gentle heroes, I'm probably not your girl. But if you want to explore the shadows with me, if you're curious about what happens when good girls fall for very bad men, then pull up a chair. We're going to have fun together.

Fair warning: I tend to write characters who do questionable things for love. They're possessive, obsessive, and sometimes downright terrifying. But they love with everything they have, and isn't that what we're all here for? The heart-pounding, pulse-racing, can't-put-it-down kind of love stories that make us question everything we thought we knew about right and wrong?

To my readers: thank you for trusting me with your dark side. Every message, every review, every "OH MY GOD, I should hate these men but I don't?!" comment makes my day. You're my kind of people – the ones who understand that the best love stories sometimes start in the shadows.
