Hey there! I'm Sarah Robinson, and I have an odd habit of dreaming up steamy romances while surrounded by blood and gore. (Don't worry, it's not as serial killer-ish as it sounds – I spent years working in emergency medicine before becoming an author!)

Writing has always been my escape, even during those crazy 24-hour hospital shifts when I'd scribble story ideas on the backs of medical charts. There's something about witnessing raw human emotion day after day that really gets the creative juices flowing. Plus, nothing makes you appreciate a good happily-ever-after quite like spending your days in the ER.

I finally took the plunge into publishing with my debut romantic suspense novel, 'Tainted Bodies' – the first book in The Photographer Trilogy. Let me tell you, transitioning from saving lives to writing about fictional ones was... interesting. But those years of seeing humanity at its most vulnerable gave me a unique perspective on love, fear, and the messy space where they collide.

My stories tend to walk that razor's edge between romance and thriller, because honestly? Life's most intense moments usually involve both love and fear. I write the kind of books that make you check your locks twice before bed, but also leave you swooning over that perfectly imperfect love story. (And yes, I absolutely believe those two things can – and should – coexist!)

In 'Tainted Bodies,' I explored what happens when passion meets danger through the lens of a photographer who captures more than she bargained for. It's the kind of story that kept me up at night writing, and from what readers tell me, it's keeping them up at night reading too! The trilogy combines my love for complex characters, heart-pounding suspense, and the kind of romance that makes you forget to breathe.

When I'm not writing, you'll probably find me binge-watching true crime documentaries (research, I swear!), attempting to garden (mostly failing), or boring my family with random medical facts they definitely didn't ask for. I'm also slightly obsessed with coffee – and by slightly, I mean I probably need an intervention.

Here's what you can expect from my books: strong heroines who don't need saving (but might save everyone else), heroes who are both dangerous and irresistible, plots that'll keep you guessing, and enough steam to fog up your reading glasses. Fair warning: I don't do simple, sweet romance. My stories are like that friend who brings tequila to a wine tasting – unexpected, potentially dangerous, but guaranteed to make your night interesting.

I believe the best stories are the ones that make us feel everything – fear, desire, anger, love – sometimes all at once. That's what I aim for in every book I write. If you're looking for safe, predictable romance, I'm probably not your girl. But if you want stories that'll make your heart race (in more ways than one), pull up a chair. We're going to have fun together.
