Hey book lovers! I'm Scorpio Love, and yes, that's my pen name - I'll let you guess whether it's my real one or not. 😉 I write the kind of steamy, drama-filled urban romance that keeps you up way past your bedtime, clicking "next chapter" even though you have work in the morning. (Don't worry, I won't tell your boss!)

Growing up in Southern California, I was always the kid with her nose buried in a book, usually something my mama would've snatched right out of my hands if she knew what I was reading! Those secret romance novels under my mattress sparked something in me - a love for stories about complicated relationships, fierce love, and the kind of drama that makes your heart race. Now I get to create those stories myself, and let me tell you, it's even better than I imagined.

My journey to becoming an author wasn't exactly straightforward. I spent years working various jobs - retail, office work, you name it - while scribbling story ideas in notebooks during lunch breaks. Finally, in 2019, I took the plunge and published my first book in the Jones Family saga. When readers fell in love with Lyric's story in "Baby, I Need You Bad 2," I knew I'd found my calling.

If you're wondering what kind of stories I write, picture this: steamy scenes that'll make you fan yourself, complex characters who aren't always easy to love (but you will anyway), and enough plot twists to give you whiplash. I love exploring toxic relationships, dangerous attractions, and the kind of love that walks that fine line between passion and obsession. My characters aren't perfect - they're messy, complicated, and sometimes make terrible decisions. But isn't that what makes them real?

The Jones Family series is my baby, and I pour everything into these characters. Lyric's story, caught between Dominic's toxic pull and Messiah's resistance, is the kind of emotional rollercoaster I live for. Long Beach isn't just a setting in my books - it's practically a character itself, bringing its own flavor and drama to every scene.

When I'm not writing (which isn't often - these characters won't shut up!), I'm probably binge-watching crime documentaries, trying out new recipes that I usually mess up, or hanging out with my two cats who think they're my personal writing assistants. (Spoiler alert: they're terrible at typing but great at emotional support.)

My writing process is... chaotic, to say the least. I'm a night owl who does my best writing at 2 AM, fueled by way too much coffee and whatever snacks I can find. Sometimes my characters wake me up in the middle of the night demanding that I write their scenes RIGHT NOW. And yes, I talk to them like they're real people. (Don't judge me - if you've read my books, you know they feel real too!)

To my readers: thank you for diving into these wild stories with me. Your messages about staying up all night to finish a chapter, or crying over a character's choices (trust me, sometimes I cry while writing them!), make all those late-night writing sessions worth it. I promise to keep bringing you stories that push boundaries, make you feel things you didn't expect, and maybe cause you to yell at your e-reader once in a while.
