Let me start by saying I never expected to end up here, writing stories that dance on the razor's edge between fear and desire. Growing up in Australia, I was that kid who always had her nose buried in a book, usually something wildly inappropriate for my age. Sorry, Mom! But those stolen moments reading under the covers with a flashlight shaped who I'd become as a writer.

Writing started as my escape, my way of processing the world's darkness while finding the beauty hidden within it. I'd scribble stories in notebooks, create characters who haunted me (in the best way), and dream up scenarios that would probably get me put on some kind of watch list. But hey, the best stories come from those darker corners of our imagination, right?

When I finally decided to take the plunge into publishing, I knew I wanted to write the kind of books that would make readers feel ALL the things—heart-pounding fear, breath-catching attraction, and that delicious tension that comes from wanting something (or someone) you probably shouldn't. That's how "Pretty Monster" was born, my debut that follows Kyah Bailey through a dangerous game of cat and mouse that'll have you questioning everything you think you know about desire.

My writing style? Think psychological thriller meets dark romance, with a healthy dose of 'What the actual hell did I just read?' thrown in for good measure. I love exploring those grey areas where fear and attraction blur, where the line between predator and prey gets fuzzy, and where consent becomes a complex dance of power and submission. (And yes, I probably need therapy for the things I put my characters through. Don't we all?)

You'll find my stories aren't for the faint of heart. I write about stalkers who'll make you check your locks twice, villains who'll have you rooting for them despite your better judgment, and heroines who are strong enough to survive it all—even if they're changed in the process. When I'm not torturing my characters (professionally, of course), you can find me caffeinating my way through life in Melbourne, probably plotting my next twisted tale while my cat judges me silently from across the room. Yes, I'm that cliché writer with a cat, but she's my best critic—you should see the looks she gives me when I read her my darker scenes!
