Hey there, dark romance lovers! I'm Sky Gold (yes, that's my pen name - let's just say my real name isn't nearly as fun). If you're looking for sweet, fluffy romances where everyone plays nice... you might want to keep scrolling. 😉

I've always been the person who roots for the morally gray characters in movies and books. You know, the ones who make you question everything you thought you knew about right and wrong? Yeah, those are my people. Growing up, I filled notebooks with stories that would've probably gotten me sent to the school counselor if anyone had found them. But hey, here we are!

My debut novel "Brutal Whisper" (coming in 2025) is basically my dark little heart poured onto paper. It's a story that's been living in my head rent-free for years, featuring two characters who are so obsessed with each other it's probably unhealthy. (Okay, definitely unhealthy. But that's why we read dark romance, right?) I love exploring those messy, complicated relationships where love and obsession blur together until you can't tell where one ends and the other begins.

When I write, I don't hold back. My characters aren't perfect - they're not even trying to be. They're possessive, they're damaged, and sometimes they do terrible things in the name of love. The heroes in my books aren't going to win any "Boyfriend of the Year" awards, but they'll definitely keep you up at night turning pages. And my heroines? They give as good as they get.

I believe the best dark romance walks that razor-thin line between love and hate, pleasure and pain, right and wrong. That's where I like to play. My stories aren't for everyone, and I'm totally okay with that. (If everyone liked them, I'd probably be doing something wrong!)

When I'm not writing about morally questionable characters falling into twisted love, you can usually find me binge-watching true crime documentaries, adding to my ever-growing collection of black clothing, or spoiling my rescue cat who thinks he's a mob boss. Coffee is my life force, and I firmly believe that 3 AM is when the best plot ideas happen.

What can you expect from my books? Second chances that come with a price. Secret babies who complicate everything. Heroes who are definitely going to hell (but they'll look good doing it). Heroines who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. And chemistry so intense it should probably come with a warning label.

Fair warning: I don't do trigger warnings. My books are dark romance - emphasis on the dark. They're not for the faint of heart, and they're definitely not for readers under 18. If you need your romance wrapped up in a pretty bow with everyone behaving themselves... I'm probably not your girl.

But if you like your love stories with a heavy dose of obsession, a side of moral ambiguity, and enough steam to fog up your e-reader? Pull up a chair, grab your favorite wine (or whiskey, I don't judge), and let's get dark and twisty together.
