Hey there! I'm SoOSo Ennis, and I write the kind of heart-pounding crime romance that keeps you up way too late, clutching your e-reader and probably questioning your life choices. (Don't worry, I do the same when I'm writing them!)

My journey into writing wasn't exactly conventional. I've always been fascinated by the thin line between justice and revenge, love and obsession. Growing up, I devoured every crime thriller and romance novel I could get my hands on, but I always felt something was missing. Where were the stories that combined both? The ones that showed how love could bloom in the darkest circumstances? That's when I realized – I needed to write them myself.

Total Control Love Lost was my debut novel, and wow, what a rollercoaster that was to write! It's the story that had been burning inside me for years – a young woman who watches her fiancé's murder and has to navigate the aftermath of that trauma while fighting for justice... and maybe finding unexpected love along the way. (I know, I know, I'm evil for putting my characters through that, but trust me, the payoff is worth it!)

Here's the thing about my writing style: I don't believe in playing it safe. My stories are raw, intense, and sometimes uncomfortable. I mix crime thriller elements with deep emotional romance because that's where the magic happens – when characters are pushed to their absolute limits, when love blooms in the most unlikely places. It's messy, it's complicated, and it's exactly how I like it.

When I'm not torturing my characters (I mean... crafting intricate plot lines), I'm probably binge-watching true crime documentaries, much to my family's concern. But hey, it's research, right? At least that's what I tell them when they catch me taking suspicious notes during Criminal Minds marathons.

I write for readers who want more than just a simple love story. My books are for those who crave intensity, who aren't afraid to explore the darker side of human nature, and who believe that sometimes the most beautiful love stories can emerge from tragedy. If you're looking for light and fluffy, I'm probably not your girl. But if you want stories that will grab you by the throat and won't let go until the very last page? Pull up a chair, we're going to be great friends.

What can you expect from my books? Edge-of-your-seat suspense, complex characters who aren't always easy to love (but you will anyway), steamy romance that'll fog up your windows, and plots that'll keep you guessing until the end. I don't do predictable, and I definitely don't do boring.

Looking ahead, I've got several new projects in the works that I can't wait to share with my readers. Each one pushes boundaries a little further, digs a little deeper into the human psyche, and explores what happens when love and danger collide. (And yes, there will be plenty more sleepless nights in your future – you're welcome!)
