Let me get real with you for a second: I never set out to write romance that walks the razor's edge between pleasure and pain. But sometimes the stories that need to be told aren't the pretty ones. They're the ones that live in those shadowy spaces where love and obsession blur together, where healing and hurting dance a dangerous tango.

My journey into writing started like a lot of authors - I was that kid with her nose constantly buried in books, scribbling stories in notebooks during math class. (Sorry, Mr. Peterson, but algebra was never going to win against my imagination.) But it wasn't until I started exploring my own complicated relationship with pain and healing that I found my true voice as a writer.

The Good Hurt series is my baby, my heart cracked open on the page. It's a dark college romance that digs deep into addiction - not just to substances, but to people, to pain, to the toxic cycles we can't seem to break free from. When I started writing Splinter (Book 2), I knew I was touching nerves that would make some readers uncomfortable. But here's the thing: sometimes we need to get uncomfortable to grow.

My characters aren't your typical romance novel leads. They're messy. They're broken. They make terrible decisions that'll have you throwing your Kindle across the room (please don't actually throw your Kindle - they're expensive). But they're real. They fight their demons while trying to love with whatever broken pieces they have left.

When I'm not torturing my characters (and by extension, my readers), you'll find me binge-watching true crime documentaries, spoiling my rescue cat who thinks she's a queen, and drinking way too much coffee. (Seriously, my blood type is probably espresso at this point.)

What can you expect from my books? Raw emotion. Complex characters who'll get under your skin and stay there. Steam that'll fog up your windows. And yes, darkness - but always with purpose, always with growth. I believe in earned happy endings, even if we have to crawl through hell to get there.
