Hey there, dark romance lovers! I'm Tris Wynters, and I write the kind of books that make your mama clutch her pearls and your best friend text you at 2 AM saying "OMG, WHAT DID I JUST READ?!"

Truth is, I never set out to write romance at all. I spent years working in corporate marketing (soul-crushing, don't recommend), dreaming up twisted stories in my head during endless meetings about quarterly projections. You know those meetings - the ones where you're supposed to be taking notes but instead you're plotting elaborate revenge scenarios? Just me?

It wasn't until I had my own brush with darkness (that's a story for another day, preferably over several glasses of wine) that I realized these stories needed to come out. The characters in my head wouldn't shut up, and they definitely weren't interested in playing nice. So here I am, writing reverse harem dark romance that explores all those deliciously gray areas between right and wrong, love and obsession, pleasure and pain.

My Consumed Series kicked off with "See Me" and continues with "Save Me," following Annie's descent into a world where the men who claim to love her might just be the ones who destroy her. (Or save her. Or both. It's complicated, okay?) I love writing strong women who find themselves in impossible situations, surrounded by dangerous men who are absolutely NOT boyfriend material... until maybe they are. My guys are broken, possessive, and sometimes morally bankrupt, but they love with an intensity that'll take your breath away.

Fair warning: my books aren't for the faint of heart. If you're looking for sweet, wholesome romance where everyone behaves and follows the rules, you might want to look elsewhere. I write about the monsters hiding in plain sight, the anti-heroes who'll make you question everything you thought you knew about good and evil. There's violence, steam that'll fog up your kindle, and enough emotional trauma to keep your therapist busy for years.

When I'm not torturing my characters (and by extension, my readers), you can find me binge-watching true crime documentaries, spoiling my rescue pit bull rotten, or adding to my already ridiculous collection of dark lipsticks. Yes, I'm that stereotype of a dark romance author - black coffee, darker soul, and a playlist that would make most people seriously worry about my mental state.

I believe the best stories are the ones that make us uncomfortable, that force us to look at the shadows we try to ignore. My books explore themes of power, control, redemption, and the kind of love that burns everything in its path. They're raw, they're real, and they're definitely not going to end up on any "clean romance" lists. (Thank god.)

To my readers: you beautiful, twisted souls who get it, who understand why we're drawn to these dark stories - you're my people. Currently, I'm working on expanding the Consumed Series universe, because apparently my brain likes to create interconnected webs of chaos and destruction. There are so many side characters demanding their own stories, and who am I to deny them? (Especially when they're this persuasive... and dangerous.)
