Hey there! I'm Z.S. Storm, and I write the kind of dark romance that makes people raise their eyebrows and probably question my search history. (My FBI agent has seen some things, let's just leave it at that.)

I burst onto the romance scene in 2024 with "Girl Obsessed" – a reverse stalker romance that flips the usual tropes on their head. Because let's be real: why should the guys get to have all the fun being creepy and obsessive? Sometimes it's the sweet, innocent-looking girl you need to watch out for.

Writing has been my escape since I was young, though I never imagined I'd end up crafting stories about obsessed teenage girls seducing their literary idols. Life's funny that way, isn't it? I spent years working "normal" jobs, scribbling story ideas in notebooks during lunch breaks and staying up way too late typing chapters on my laptop. The characters in my head wouldn't shut up until I finally gave them a voice.

My stories aren't your typical romance fare. I love exploring the darker side of desire, the places most authors are afraid to go. Power dynamics, manipulation, obsession – all the delicious psychological elements that make dark romance so addictive. But I also weave in humor and real emotional depth, because even the most twisted characters need layers. (And honestly, sometimes you need to laugh when things get dark.)

"Girl Obsessed" is my debut novel, and it's exactly what it says on the tin: a story about an obsessed fan who worms her way into her favorite author's life by becoming his assistant. Is it wrong? Absolutely. Is it hot? You bet. Will it make you question your own moral compass? Probably. But that's half the fun.

When I'm not writing morally grey characters doing questionable things, I'm probably binge-watching true crime documentaries (research!), drinking way too much coffee, or spoiling my cat who thinks she's my editor. She's very judgmental about my writing schedule, by the way. According to her, 3 AM is the perfect time for both creativity and treats.

My writing style? Think dark chocolate with a razor blade hidden inside. Sweet enough to lure you in, sharp enough to draw blood. I don't believe in fade-to-black scenes or pulling punches. My characters make bad decisions, cross lines, and sometimes do unforgivable things. But they're also deeply human, desperately seeking connection in their own twisted ways.

To my readers: thank you for being brave enough to walk on the wild side with me. For embracing the taboo and understanding that fiction is a safe space to explore the darker sides of desire. Your messages and reviews mean the world to me, even (especially) when you tell me I made you root for characters you know you shouldn't.

What can you expect from my books? Age gaps that'll make you squirm. Power plays that'll keep you up at night. Chemistry that burns hot enough to scorch. And endings that might not be traditionally "happy" but are always satisfying. (Also, probably some cats. They tend to sneak into my stories, much like they sneak onto my keyboard while I'm trying to write.)

Fair warning: if you're looking for sweet, clean romance, you're in the wrong place. But if you like your love stories with a heavy dose of psychological tension, morally ambiguous characters, and scenes that'll make you check over your shoulder while reading... pull up a chair. We're going to have fun together.
